Cord Blood Program and Cellular Therapy
Bloodworks operates the first and only public cord blood bank in the Pacific Northwest with 10 collection sites in two states. The Cord Blood Program has banked over 14,000 units for transplant, sending over 1,200 units to patients in need. Blood-forming stem cells collected by the cord blood program are made available to patients worldwide through Be the Match®. Units not meeting banking requirements are made available for research.
